As a fleet coordinator, I would like to know the cost of third party vehicles per load.

On one hand, I may wish to reduce the cost of delivery. On the other hand, if third parties are not making enough, they will find other work.

As a fleet allocator, I would like to know how well I am meeting customer commitments (based on delivery windows).

Amount of commitments met can be an important KPI in transportation.

Driver utilization is an important KPI for transportation. It should be easily visible and regularly updated (perhaps in COMMANDtrack).

As an order taker, I would like the ability to ensure vehicle demand does not exceed supply (which may vary day by day or even by time of day, as well as location/region).

Currently, Apex does not accommodate changes in vehicle supply. This does not work well when dealing with third party hauliers, as additional vehicles may need to be requested and available vehicles changes over time.

As an order taker, I would like the ability to provide and record a delivery window (+/- 30min, +/- 4hr, etc.) to the customer.
