Add a button like the "Message to Weighmaster" on the customer screen, but appears on the Jobs, Quotes, Sales Orders screen and the message applies to that specific record? That way important notes appear when the record is opened in the job, quote, or order screen. This is helpful to let other users know that a freight table is being used for instance, or that order requires adding special fuel surcharge to order products, etc... *Note unlike message to weighmaster this is no intended to go to the ticketing screen, just the sales programs.
Yep I understand. Will take this through the process and see if it makes sense to extend our current functionality to other screens.
Kristy, that's true. We are looking to have that same button and message option screen added to the Orders program Quotes program, jobs program. I realize from the Customer screen I could put i a "quote" message...but it would be ideal to be able to do that directly from the quote screen as we don't give most people access to the customer screen (or read only)...as well as for convenience sake.
Justin, Apex's Message to Weighmaster screen does have the ability to choose when a message goes to Jobs, Quotes, Master Orders, Orders, and Dispatch Orders and not the Ticketing screen.
And it has an expire date (if needed) when the message will not continue to display.
Ah yes I see that. I will move the comment to AP-I-112.
Looking to have a pop up window with a message that has to be acknowledged before moving forward. The notes indicator below is not sufficient to satisfy this request. This does look like it satisfies "API-I-112" though.
