On the dispatch order, we set the Schedule Start and End Times. It is my understanding that the schedule start time when the first truck is to be on the job. In order to be on the job at say 9:00am, with a 10 minute in plant time and a 50 minute travel time, we would need to load the first truck at 8:00am. Unless we check the box to allow "Before Scheduled Start" on the dispatch order, if a truck attempts to load/ticket prior to the 9:00am start time - Apex generates the error and wont allow ticketing. It would seem that, this error should take into consideration the Scheduled Start Time - MINUS the time in plant and travel time - and use that to test if before scheduled start or not. To be on the job at 9:00am - we obviously have to load/ticket the truck well before that time.
