To set where Apex looks to find which printer to print tickets to, you set the value in System Config. It can look to Scale, Location, Computer, Plant, or Highest.
It would be very beneficial if we could set up a Hierarchy of where it looks for the Ticket Printer Source. Our organization centrally dispatches and tickets multiple locations. So our Printer source is set to Location and each location has a Printer. This set up assumes that there is one Printer/scale at each location.
It would be great if we could set the Ticket Printer Source to "Hierarchy", so if there is a printer set up in the Scale file, it would print there. So it would technically look to the Scale first, then Location and so on. This would allow for multiple scale/printers at each location.
