At our HMA plants, the batchman will sometimes change the load between Delivered and Pickup. It is my understanding that, as this information is not part of the 3rd party interface, when the load comes back, Apex will always default back to the sales order.
We have sales orders where we will deliver the material, but the customer may also send in their own trucks, which would then be pick up.
Two orders, one a pickup and one as delivered would be an option, however, we must print today/todate loads/quantities on all ticket. With two separate orders, we would not be able to print the true totals.
This could be controlled by vehicle I believe, but we have hired haulers that haul for us, but also haul for themselves. Issue here is that we would need two different truck records for the same physical vehicle. One with a carrier and one without.
If this cant be done in the third party interface, have Apex honor the freight information as entered on the dispatch order (if there is one). From the same sales order, we could have one dispatch as pickup and one as delivered, when we will have both on the same order.
