At larger plants with multiple workstations a single user may want to have different programs startup, depending on which workstation they log into. One station may handle odd numbered lanes, the other station handles even lanes (plant has seven lanes). It would be nice if Scale Ticket instances matched the lanes that the station handles.
We appreciate your idea, however, we will not add it to our development pipeline at this time. Each idea is reviewed and scored based on a number of factors including the business impact to our customer base, strategic direction, market input (votes) and effort to develop. As always, we want to ensure we are utilizing our resources to develop the most impactful solutions for our industry.
Although we see value in adding this functionality, the effort to add the feature to the product outweighs the other factors mentioned above. It is definitely something that could be considered in the future.
We keep a log of every idea for as a reference point when looking at future enhancements. These old ideas may be resurrected if it aligns with a future initiative.
