In a negative weigh asphalt environment:
APEX goes to load out and it takes control from the plant controls and dumps the batch gate and then does the first drop.
It releases control back to plant controls which dumps the batch gate right away.
APEX then takes control back from plant controls and dumps the batch gate before doing the second drop.
After the second drop it releases control back to the plant controls and repeats these steps.
The extra drop by the plant control is causing extra wear and potential product issues.
Could APEX take control until it finishes the second load, only when it’s in the automatic mode? So that APEX controls the batch gate until it's finished with the second drop?
If they’re in the manual mode we would want the plant controls to take over in between drops just in case the batcher gets side tracked in between drops.
