Many of our customers ask for a copy of the ticket of the weighmaster once the image has been transferred to the office. Because the transfer moves the images to a backup folder, Apex can no longer find the image. This would allow the weighmasters/plant personnel to provide copies of the tickets without having to ask their customers to call the office.
Ideally, this ticket image could be attached to the connex data stream and be housed there - where anyone with proper access can see it - this removes the necessity of me having to house them here.
We are creating a Scale Ticket Image Output and sending that up instead of the Image file.
We are not using the transfer process in Apex to send it, however, so that may not help this user.
I noticed not a lot of votes on this from the community. Would anyone like to share how they handle this process for ticket images?
I am not looking for a work around. We have been dealing with this for years so we can wait until CAI makes the change.
Thanks,
Aida

Understood.
As a workaround, my advice would be to use something like robocopy and a batch script instead of the file transfer in Apex.
Hi Chris,
I am using the file transfer through Apex.

Aida, are you using a process outside of Apex (like a batch file or powershell script) to trigger the transfer process, or are users using the Transfer Tickets Out window in Apex?
