When copying a quote from one customer to another, the pricing will often times stay the same, while the customer specific information such as contact information will change. This is especially true when price lists are not being used. But those things are all controlled by Reset Customer Information. If price lists are not used, the pricing will go to zero on the new quote when Reset Customer Information is checked. It would be helpful to have another checkbox that covers pricing only and leave Reset Customer Information for the other customer specific information.
Kristy, what is the current status of this topic?
In Apex V5 we were able to copy quotes to new customers with the pricing changing as well as the customer information, which all of our sales staff did regularly. Since we upgraded to V6 this ability has been taken away from us. I've received a lot of negative comments from everyone of our sales staff about this change.
