Notification for update in Dispatch Schedule

Example: Day at the Scalehouse starts, attendant is opening dispatch schedule and might even print it off. Customer calls and wants to change something (quantity, delivery time etc.), dispatcher updates and it get's replicated to the sites. Our process would require the dispatcher to email the scalehouse to make attendant aware about the change, but the phone rings or something like that and the email never happens. The scale person is unaware of the change and is working on original schedule...

The end result is the customer is not happy, the scale person is not happy, the dispatcher is not happy and the sales manager is not happy.

It would be great to add notifications for above and similar scenarios.
