Add ability to edit the Customer Name Field from Ticketing screen and/or Dispatch Order screen. COD customer tickets would be typical use scenario. Edited name will be actual name on ticket and Dispatch Order but will not change Customer Record.
We appreciate your idea, however, we will not add it to our development pipeline at this time. Each idea is reviewed and scored based on a number of factors including the business impact to our customer base, strategic direction, market input (votes) and effort to develop. As always, we want to ensure we are utilizing our resources to develop the most impactful solutions for our industry.
Although we see value in adding this functionality, the effort to add the feature to the product outweighs the other factors mentioned above. It is definitely something that could be considered in the future.
We keep a log of every idea for as a reference point when looking at future enhancements. These old ideas may be resurrected if it aligns with a future initiative.

For us, unfortunately is inconsistent - even within the same plant. Sometimes the true customer name is entered as the PO number or in one of the delivery address fields. They use some field that they know will print on the delivery ticket. This enhancement could help enforce a more consistent methodology
This would be good. We had this ability in our legacy system. Rather than the tickets and such printing a name such as cash sale - it would be the customer's real name. I believe this would be good for any kind of internal auditing.
How is everyone recording the Customer Name in Apex today? Please comment with how your company handles this.
