Apex is very effective at defining and capturing Gross Vehicle Weight (ie default, state & federal) for a vehicle configuration such that vehicles are not overloaded at ticketing time.
However Regulatory bodies require that vehicles also do not exceed axle/axle group weights as well (i.e. single axle maximum or tandem axle maximum weight)
Currently no way to define axle/axle group maximum weight, nor able to detect and/or capture actual axle group weights at ticketing.
Capturing this information at ticketing would improve legal compliance and reduce incidents of overloaded axle penalties/fines.
