This has been mostly completed. Some times releases only deal with functionality 'behind the scenes' and do not contain screenshots. However, when appropriate we will strive to add them as well.
We've been thinking about the Release Notes. I like the idea of listing the applicable software that needs to be updated in a patching scenario. What we've run into is the potential that some customers will patch their systems when they do not need to. We'll have to keep this in mind when we discuss it.
I like the visuals as well. On the defects document, could the impacted files/programs be listed. Generally, there are multiple defects being corrected and maybe a customer really only needs one of them now. By knowing the specific programs/files involved in the fix, the customer could download and install just those - while the others could wait for a future time.
