We're definitely reviewing this. All of this input is extremely valuable.
I'm interested if the solution will meet PCI compliance. We currently have scanners in the scalehouse too, but we want it integrated to Apex so data can be sent with the transaction to the processing company without having to key it in every time. Adding a card reader to the Kiosk is a great idea. Ingenico makes modules that could work in that scenario, while maintaining encryption for PCI.
How would this integrate into JWS? Are we talking a reader on the kiosk or inside the scale house? It would for sure be nice if we could run full auto, including no scale master , at retail quarries. But if it’s just a reader inside the scale house we already have that.
I'm extremely interested in this functionality.
