What do you think? We could add a RFID reader to the remote printer enclosure. The wiring and electricity could be pulled from the printer enclosure. The placement on the enclosure would protect the reader from mirrors. It would eliminate another piece of equipment. Downside - this arrangement would work better for low-volume plants because it would require putting the printer enclosure on the scale. See attached printer for initial thoughts.
Also, is there any other way we could combine equipment that would work better for you?
At this time we are not implementing this feature. If market interest change, we will readdress the feature then.
I'm okay with it remaining separate, as it gives flexibility for mounting, but I wouldn't be against it as an option.
