Apex does not seem robust with respect to interruptions to the database connection. Recovery from a disconnection event should be a mundane task for the program, but currently, even a momentary network or other glitch causes all open screens to lock up. Please consider 'toughening' the program to cope with momentary (or longer) outages. Perhaps a dialog box 'Attempting to Restore Database Connection' and an option to quit. This happens often enough that we have 'Kill Apex' utility in our Support Toolbox program on each Point of Sale machine. We didn't want users to have to delve into Task Manager and kill processes off to recover.
